Setting ${env.domain} as customDomains in LE Addon will issue valid certificate, but amount of such certificates is limited so after a couple of Gitlab installations the package will fail to install (because of a limit of a side of LE).
With fake certificate user still can install LE addon, but on real custom domain, not a domain of hosting service provider
