5️⃣ Additional context

First I'd like to say thank you for this amazing piece of software. I really love it and it's amazing features. I don't think I can use anything else anymore.

Secondly, I like finding wallpapers, upscaling them, then downsizing them to 4k, so I can have nice high quality wallpapers. The upscaled wallpapers are usually 50-500mb. I have Image preview enabled in settings, but It seems to not be working, unless I'm doing something wrong?

I have two images here I tested in the video:

First: 146MB; 12,800 x 7,200
Second: 403MB; 30,720 x 17,280

In ImageGlass:

  • The first image took about 6.5 seconds to load, with no preview available.
  • The second image took about 19.5 seconds to load, with no preview available.

In Windows Photos:

  • The first image took about 2 seconds total to load, with a preview available while loading full resolution.
  • The second image took about 5.2 seconds total to load, with a preview available while loading full resolution.
(In the video you can see when the full resolution is loaded when I am able to zoom in).
